Cadaver (Kadäwier; Larusaal) is a planet located on the Eastern March of the Weissersteiner Empire, situated on the old XXXX trade route, which connected the old Cadavrian Kingdom of Larusaal with the First Dovian Empire. The planet is home to large mining settlements located throughout the planet, and is home to approximately 3 billion inhabitants, of which 92% are humans, both native human Cadavrians and colonists from all over the Weissersteiner Empire.
During the Great Hundred Years' War, Cadaver was an intense fighting ground between the Imperial Weissersteiner Reichswehr and their allies the local Cadaver Military Organization (a local predecessor to the Selbsschutz) against the Imperial Dovian Army. Due to the war, Cadaver was decimated, and the planet has yet to recover from the war. Trench lines and static fortifications can still be seen scattered throughout the planet.
Etymology
Officially known as Kadäwier, the planet is known by its local inhabitants as Larusaal, meaning "beating heart". It is unknown how the name "Cadaver" came to be used for the planet.
