The Imperial Remnant, officially known as the Ryccian Empire, is a break away star nation located in the south-western part of Sector A1-0. The Imperial Remnant was founded by Ryccian aristocrats fleeing Democratic Revolution using experimental wormhole technology to continue the old imperial ways. Nowadays, the Imperial Remnant is considered an oppressive isolationist rump state by outsiders. Its own citizenry however, believes itself to be the last true Ryccians existing.
