the Trianarö Imperium Forces, informally the Imperö's Army and the Imperium's Guard are the national collective military of the Holy Imperium of Trianar.


Supplies

The Trianarö imperium forces are entirely supplied by production from Trianarö regions. Regions are all assigned quotas proportionate to that Empire's population and production power. Failure to reach a quota (unless excused by the Imperö) results in heavy taxation and a meeting of the local government and the Imperö. The military receives:

  • 80% of all starcraft built
  • 70% of all weapons manufactured
  • 90% of all military ground and air vehicles built
  • 80-100% of all military water vessels built, proportionate to the amount of ocean in that region
  • 100% of all Flagships built, with an allowance of 10 Flagships total under regional control

The rest of the manufacturing goes to that region's Local Armory, which is used to supply the Local Militia or any military garrison.

Space bases and worlds

The TIF operates in and around every system in Trianar in some capacity. Their main operational base is in the Capital, on the planet Ikarn. It is there the Imperö's war room is located,


The TIF's most important world besides the capital is Tzûra. Tzûra is a world covered in machinery, so much so that from the outside it looks like a machine world- however, it is not a machine world and is still livable by organic life without life support. Tzûra's main purpose is to do endless military calculations, calculating large-scale military scenarios to understand any weak-points in current Trianarö technology or doctrine. These calculations are corroborated with large scale war-games in and around the system, providing endless results that result in minor restructuring or overhauls of Trianarö strategy, tactics or technology.


Aside from Tzûra, Trianar operates hundreds of thousands of in-and-out-of-system space bases and stations for both research and military purposes. Many of them are simply resupply stations for ships to replenish their FTL materials, but some of them have links to the internal gateway system, allowing better ease of movement within Trianar's borders.

Organization

The Trianarö organizational structure gives a certain level of autonomy to leaders in all sub-divisions. For each, however, there is a certain "Minimum" level of autonomy where smaller units must defer to a larger one for action.


Trianarö forces can be directly ordered by their Commands- either Star Command for spacecraft or Planetary Command for the Planetary Forces.

Doctrine and mission

The principle of the entirety of the Trianarö Imperium Forces is to protect the lives of Ikaranareans at all costs. Due to the perceived strategic importance of the Ikaranareans, the prolonged endangerment of or the killing of even a single Ikaranarean is considered an Act of War. any soldier in the TIF is expected to give anything and everything for the sake of the Ikaranareans. Additionally, The TIF does not tolerate any border incursions as such an act is interpreted as stealing from the Ikaranareans and the Imperö's citizens.


The military doctrine of the TIF relies on the principle of "1 Projetixas ore 1000 aruumö," or "One bullet over 1000 arrows." The idea states that a single well-trained soldier is more beneficial to the Imperium then 1000 ill-trained soldiers. It extends over to every branch of the military- the Trianarö are to defeat enemies as quickly and efficiently as possible. Due to this principle, things like Flagships and the Planetary Forces "class system" were created to maximize the efficiency of each soldier. The doctrine also calls for intense usage of Combined Arms warfare on the planetary scale and a mind over matter mindset- all generals are supposed to be trained to the highest degree. Furthermore, failure is tolerated out of military necessity, allowing the TIF to evolve and grow over time. The TIF tolerates the killing of civilians in a war scenario where Ikaranarean lives are directly at stake, although doctrine notes that civilian killing is for strategic purposes and should be focused on centers of enemy industry, as per the concept of total war.

War Level

The Trianarö have a ranking system of the severity of a war. How much a war is escalated depends on a variety of factors, but there are certain thresholds to be passed where a war can not be escalated any further unless that threshold has been passed.
