The Ministry of Regional Affairs was formed on 23th September 2011. After months of debate in the Assembly, the Ministry was dissolved on 7th September 2020. In 2023, the Ministry of Regional Affairs was brought back, and the Ministries of both [[Ministry of Culture|Culture]] and [[Ministry of Engagement|Engagement]] were re-merged.

The Ministry of Regional Affairs has three departments:
* [[Department of Cultural Affairs|Cultural Affairs]] (CA) — responsible for promoting activity on all platforms of the region, organizing cultural events within the region and with other regions, hosting games and other activities, and fostering and supporting [[Roleplay in the South Pacific|regional roleplay]]
* [[Department of Educational Affairs|Educational Affairs]] (EA) — responsible for integrating citizens of the South Pacific on all platforms, encouraging the retention of and providing guidance to new players, and educating citizens about the various institutions of the South Pacific
* [[Department of Media Affairs|Media Affairs]] (MeA) — responsible for managing the various media of the South Pacific, overseeing media coverage of the various activities of the region, and creating and storing official graphics of the South Pacific
 
Within those three departments, there are six specialised divisions: Events and Roleplay (CA), Integration and Projects (EA), and Graphics and Media (MeA). The current structure was adopted in February 2020 once Qvait (28th Minister) became Minister of Regional Affairs.
