The structure of the government of Anserisa was designed for the guarantee of independence from each branches of government and for a good system of counter measures from one branch over the other. The government of Anserisa is composed of the three branches. The executive branch is composed of the Republican Commission, headed by the President. The legislative branch is composed the Congress of the Republic, itself composed of two houses, the upper house is the Council of Regions, headed by the Principal Councillor and the lower house is the National Convention, headed by the General Representative. The General Representative is also de facto First Congressist. The Judiciary is composed of the Supreme Court of Justice, headed by the Principal Supreme Judge.

A bicameral Congress of the Republic.

Council of Regions

Upper house of the Congress, it is elected every 6 years. The Council of Regions currently has 15 members elected by a regional proportional voting system.

National Convention

Lower house of the Congress, it is elected every 2 years. The National Convention currently has 35 members elected in single-seat electoral districts. There are 21 seats for Branta Island, 7 for Haliétusa Island and 6 for Rubecula Island.

Wordmark of Anserisa

Traditionally, the government of Anserisa uses the standardized signature with the Escutcheon of Anserisa and the name of the entity, generally Republica d'Anserisa. On 7th March 2020, the government introduced a new wordmark, that is to be used on non official documents, mostly destined to be used for the promotion of Anserisa internationally. It is the work of Marketignio Anserisano.[1]

Faces of Anserisa

The people representing the different governmental organs of Anserisa are often called by the population, the Faces of Anserisa for they are heading the different institutions which are essential to the administration of the country.

Separation of powers

The separation of powers is clearly defined by the Constitution of Anserisa[2], the three branches each have powers over the other and independence from the other branches.
