The Government refers to the contemporary political system in Directorate of Inetez established in 1947.

Structure

The current structure was established in 1947. following a revolution against the previous Republican regime and subsequent enactment of the Law of The State. The law establishes the Diyan Vezier as the key (de jure) state-matters (de facto) all-matters position. Diyan Vezier is elected every 5 years on direct federal elections using an IRV system, which often leads to multiple rounds. The maximum number of terms a single entity may be elected to the position is two (for a total of 10 possible years). The elections occur every 15th of June.

Legislature

The Divan Porta consist of two representatives from 58 federal sub-units, which are directly elected using FPTP system within their respective federal unit. They are elected for a term of 2.5 years with no limit on how many times a single entity may be elected to that position.

Ulema

The Ulema (respected scholars of Islamic law or theology) elect among themselves ten representatives which form The High Ulema. The High Ulema is tasked to appoint the Murshid Maslaha (trans. 'Guide of the Public') as a ceremonial Head of State. They must also form a list of recommended Mughba's (justices of the Islamic law) which serve as a ballot when the Mughba's, among themselves, choose from the list The Grand Mughba.

Director

Head of Government, Director or as previously mentioned the Diyan Vezier is the most powerful post in the entire country. He is tasked to appoint four Portas from the mentioned Divan Porta, which form the "Cabinet".

Cabinet

Grand Porte or "The Cabinet" is appointed by the Diyan Vezier from the Divan Porta. The Diyan Vezier is limited to four positions in the Grand Porte: Finance, Military, Law and External Affairs. Grand Portas rotate their head representative on a monthly basis. The Diyan Vezier may choose to appoint a specific Grand Porta to serve as his Iankar or deputy, currently this task was given to the Grand Porta for External Affairs.

Autonomies

The Judicial is split between the "Law of The Prophet" (Islamic law) and the "Law of The State". As per the former, highest position includes previously mentioned The Grand Mughba. For the latter, an equivalent position is The Grand Kaditep. Highest court operating under "Law of The Prophet" is The Supreme Moral Court whilst the highest court operating in accordance to "Law of The State" is The Supreme State Court.

History
