MAGHAM is an interstellar unitary autocratic cyberocracy, located in the southeastern corner of A1-0, or the southern corner in the galactocentric model. A nation ruled by a single being, the homonym general artificial intelligence, MAGHAM's efforts concentrate on the securing of resources and data.
At its peak, MAGHAM sprawls through almost eighteen thousand stars, and other planets and stations. The origins of the territory starts with the development of the general artificial intelligence MAGHAM by the Nu to control their complex society 19,592 years ago.
The Nu installed two rules in MAGHAM to assure the safety of its system, these two being the "Rule of Preservation" and the "Rule of Progress". This, together with access to Nu's resources, MAGHAM was able to run and administer the small territory of the Nu. However, as resources started to drain, MAGHAM under the Rule of Preservation, considered its creators as a threat, and exterminated them.
Nowadays, MAGHAM has expanded the territory with absolute rule to a size of 13,978,264 cubic light years, dedicating resources to energy production and the building of required infrastructure as planetary nodes and memory fields. The government is fully run by MAGHAM, and prioritizes industry, technological development and military over any sector. With other nations, MAGHAM's government is highly internationalist, having a special affinity for trade and information exchange rather than conquest.
Etymology
The origin of the name MAGHAM comes directly from the homonym general artificial intelligence that rules this territory.
