Nicholas Cillian Tadhg Ruaidhrí McGregor (born 10 November 1972) is the current Supreme Leader of Nicholas and Great Britain. He was elected on the 7th May 2009 and kept the position until being forced to resign on the 31st December 2021. After a civil war, he regained his position on the 4th May 2022. He is an ex-member of the NGBSS Command Council and is the only person in the NGBSS Command Council known to not have had their name changed to CC-(number) upon joining the council.

Early Life

Nicholas McGregor was born on the 10th November 1972 to Caelan and Mackenzie McGregor. He was their fourth child out of 8. He lived his early life in a mining village on the east of Nicholas and Great Britain near Western Romordia called Hindbury. His father worked as a miner. In 1980, his mother was murdered by a Romordian called Ivano Sarić.

Education

Nicholas McGregor excelled in many subjects at primary school and wealthy family who lived near Hindbury paid for Nicholas and his siblings' bus tickets to travel to the closest grammar school, something which Nicholas repaid by giving them Craigowan Lodge in Aberdeenshire, which had previously been owned by the royal family, when the royal family was overthrown in 2011. McGregor went to Birmingham Imperial University to study for an MA in Law, a PhD in Politics and another PhD in Economics.

Early Career

In 1995, Nicholas McGregor joined the Nicholas and Great British Secret Service. He was educated in many subjects during the early times in his career in the secret service. In 1996, he joined a highly secret branch of the secret service where his name was replaced with a service number. He would soon leave this branch but only retain his first name, Nicholas, until he joined the Socialist Nationalist Party in 1996. Since then, he has been frequently referred to by only his first name. In 2008, following the assassination of the party leader, Nicholas McGregor became the new leader of the Socialist Nationalist Party.

Rise to power

By 2009, many people across Nicholas and Great Britain had lost faith in the current democratic government and much of parliament had proven to be corrupt and incompetent. Socialist Nationalist party leaders vociferously criticised the ruling democratic government, while proselytising their desire to turn Nicholas and Great Britain into a world power. The Socialist Nationalist Party had gained much support for promising to "bring back glory" and "end corruption". In his campaigns, Nicholas McGregor told people of some of his plans to reform the nation which gained a large amount of support. On the 7th May 2009, the Socialist Nationalist Party had won the general election. During this year, he also joined the NGBSS Command Council. Since then, the NGBSS would help him control the nation and keep his power.

Reforms

During the first few months of his time as Prime Minister, Nicholas McGregor introduced multiple acts such as the Employment Rights Act 2009 and the Gender Equality Act 2010. Knowing that he couldn't get rid of the House of Lords and the need for a Royal Assent as laws had to pass through them, he ordered the NGBSS to threaten members of the House of Lords and the royal family with punishments such as arrest or assassination if they didn't step down. This sparked a civil war which would last until 2011.

Civil war

Nicholas McGregor's decision to order the NGBSS to threaten the royal family and members of the House of Lords started a civil war. On the 18th of November 2009, King William VI, the monarch at the time and the Commander-of-Chief of the Armed Forces gained support from many soldiers and ordered them to attack the NGBSS Headquarters. Nicholas McGregor was able to gather support from other soldiers and ordered them to fire at any soldiers supporting the monarchy. He also ordered the NGBSS to capture members of the royal family. On the 12th of December, Prince Richard, King William's eldest son, was kidnapped by the NGBSS. They threatened to kill him if the monarchist forces would not surrender. King William refused to surrender and Prince Richard was executed. Later, four members of the royal family were assassinated and many monarchist forces surrendered. However, King William refused to surrender. On the 24th February 2011, King William was poisoned by a deadly nerve agent and died in hospital. The King's eldest living son, Prince George, became King and surrendered. Many members of the royal family went into hiding and to this day, not all have been found.

Romordia

In 2014, Nicholas McGregor had the position of Minister of Romordia removed and the minister, Zelimir Vrban, was executed. This was after years of heated debates between the two in parliament over the treatment of Romordia. In 2021, the riots in Romordia worsened and on the 19th of October, Minister of Imperial Expansion John Evington, proposed a military operation to eradicate 60% of the Romordian population, which would be 3 million people. After some persuasion, Nicholas agreed. However, the next day he postponed the genocide because of the threat of a World Forum military intervention. Even though there was no WF intervention, Izaakia declared war on the 1st of November.

War with Izaakia and loss of power

On the 16th of November 2021, Nicholas McGregor ordered that residents of towns and cities under siege are not allowed to leave. This decision was made in hopes that civilians caught up in battles would join in and that news of civilians not leaving their homes when faced with Izaakian forces would improve morale across the nation. However, this decision received a lot of backlash from parliament and many accounts of civilians in towns and cities under siege were not included on the media as it would lower morale. Nicholas McGregor created the Nicholas and Great British Anti-Retreat Forces to prevent soldiers and civilians from retreating. Nicholas and Great Britain lost half of the nation in a short amount of time and the war was brought to a stalemate during the Battle of Nicholasgrad, despite the Lewis Offensive, named after Marshal General Jasper Lewis, making some progress. It became clear that Nicholas and Great Britain would not win this war and that the war was a sign of Nicholas McGregor's incompetence. On the 31st of December, Nicholas McGregor was kicked out of his position by many members of the government, military and police. After an apology speech to the public, Nicholas McGregor and many other high ranking officials who stayed loyal to him were sent to high security prisons. Nicholas McGregor spent the next few months in RNP Elford, now called INP Elford.

Regaining power

On the 23rd of March 2022, a few days after John Evington escaped prison after an NGBSS attack, the National Security and Intelligence Service, the replacement for the NGBSS, anticipated and NGBSS attack on RNP Elford and set up defences. When the NGBSS forces arrived, the two forces went into battle. Later, the military joined but despite being outnumbered, the NGBSS won and Nicholas McGregor and ex-commander-in-chief Evan Brant were taken out of prison. Nicholas McGregor, Evan Brant, John Evington and the NGBSS Command Council, raised an army. They gained significant support and the country was soon in civil war. The army was split into multiple parts led by multiple people. Nicholas McGregor's army fought in the Battle of Bedlington, Battle of Cramlington, Battle of Newcastle and the Second Battle of Nicholasgrad, all of which resulted in victories. On the 4th of May, Nicholas McGregor and his side had won the civil war and he regained power of the nation. He changed the nation back to what it was like before but having learnt from the past, he gave the people a bit more freedom and gave private companies some more control over themselves. He also made conscription permanent instead of in times of war.

Personal Life

Nicholas McGregor does not have a significant other and has only briefly had a girlfriend during his time in university.

Nicholas McGregor and Gray Sainsbury are close friends, having met each other in university. He's also close friends with Evan Brant, who's he's known since secondary school, John Evington and Gregory Avington.
