Anserisa (Anserisan pronunciation : [ɑ̃səʁiza]) officially the Republic of Anserisa (Anserisan : Republica d'Anserisa, Anserisan pronunciation : [ʁepyblika d'ɑ̃səʁiza]) is small archipelago nation located in the South Pacific and located on the western side of the Rainbow Islands (Pacifica), located near Winston Island of the Valkyrian Republic, the Kingdom of Holy Free and the Frost Empire.
Composed of one main island, Branta and the two smallers islands of Haliétusa and Rubecula, it covers an area of 5, 446 square kilometers (2, 103 sq mi) and has a tropical climate. It's largest city and capital is Brantavilla while Concordia serves as the country's industrial center.
The first recorded history of the Anserisan people begins in 1201 with the establishment of the County of Branta and the subsequent formation of the County of Concordia and the County of Hydrargyro and the period known has the Three Counties of the Northern Isles which united to form the Principality of Anserisa with the coronation of Prince Stéphano I on 2 June 1443. After failed the failed Republican Revolution of 1790-1792 on 9 April 1792, Emperor Hadriano proclaimed the Anserisan Empire which lasted until the Republican Revolution of 1810-1815 which saw the creation of the Republic of Anserisa on 21 September 1815.
Today, Anserisa is a unitary democratic parliamentary republic led by a President. It is a developped nation that offers social security, with a well-funded public education and universal health care. It is also known for its extensive Charter of Rights which protects a significant number of rights and contains extended non-discrimination dispositions.[2]
Etymology
The name for Anserisa comes from the princely House of Anserisa which unified the three counties in 1443 and ruled from 1443-1700 and 1713-1792.
History
Proof of inhabitants from before 1201 has been found in many places on all three islands but significantly on Haliétusa. It is thought that these people were nomadic and seafearers that moved from islands to islands since traces of similar items were found on the surronding islands of the Rainbow Islands.
