The GUVR Special Purpose Forces Operational Group «Vera» (Karnetvorian: ГУВР Специальная Назначения Войска, Оперативная Группа «Вера»), also known as Vera Group, Vera, or formerly Kama Group, is a special purpose forces unit of the Pelinese Armed Forces’ Main Directorate of Military Intelligence. It was formed by the Pelinese Ministry of War as the Kama Group in 1968 to serve as a counterintelligence and counterterrorism of the Pelinese Internal Security Service, though the events of the February Revolution, the White Revolution, and the Pelinese Civil War led to its eventually being reassigned to its present position as an offensive-oriented black operations unit of the Pelinese Armed Forces.
In addition to performing activities as a special operations force, many officers that have served in Vera have become major figures in the founding of other Pelinese military and security organizations; this includes pre-revolutionary organizations such as the Army of Pelinese Restoration, as well as currently operating entities like the GUVR, the PWA Airborne Forces, and the Federal Security Directorate.
