The Royal Pelinese Homeland Guard (Pelinese: ペリナイ州兵, Perinai Shūhei) is the internal security branch of the Pelinese Armed Forces, responsible for performing counterterrorism, riot control, disaster response, rural law enforcement and police duties, and maritime security, as well as performing auxiliary support and rear area security operations during wartime.
The RPHG administers Pelinai’s internal troops, rural law enforcement departments, coast guard, infrastructure security forces, riot control and quick reaction forces, and other associated security forces. Unlike other branches of the Pelinese Armed Forces, the Homeland Guard is normally placed under the administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and is only transferred to MoD control during military conflicts.
