The Chamber of Deputies (Mauquibian: Chambre des Députés) is part of the legislative branch of the Grand Duchy of Mauquibie. It is led by the Minister-President of Mauquibie. It is the lower house of the National Assembly. It was created in 2001 by Grand Duke Louis-Philippe III.
The Chamber of Deputies is jointly responsible, with the Chamber of Peers, for the redaction, the debate and the adoption of all the laws of Mauquibie.
Members
The Chamber of Deputies is composed of 50 Deputies elected for mandates of 4 years. They are elected in national proportional party-list elections. They are automatically members of the National Assembly. They hold the right to use the post-nominal letters MCD for the duration of their mandate.
