The National Assembly (Mauquibian: Assemblée Nationale) is the legislative branch of the Grand Duchy of Mauquibie. It is led by both the Minister-President of Mauquibie and the Lord-President of Mauquibie and it is where all bills are debated and adopted to become laws. It is composed of two houses, the upper house is the Chamber of Peers and the lower house is the Chamber of Deputies. It was created in 2001 by Grand Duke Louis-Philippe III.
The National Assembly is responsible for the redaction, the debate and the adoption of all the laws of Mauquibie.
Members
The 216 Members of the National Assembly are the 166 members of the Chamber of Peers and the 50 members of the Chamber of Deputies. They hold the right to use the post-nominal letters MAN for the duration of their mandate.
