The Pacifica canon is the modern-day roleplay canon of TSPRP, and the oldest of the current 3. It follows modern dates and levels of technology, and features real-world religions, ideologies, and languages, but has a separate universe and does not use Earth’s geography or history. The active map area is the South Pacific, a region in the southern hemisphere of Pacifica around the prime meridian.
Roleplay in the Pacifica canon is more grounded and realism-focused than the other two canons and Knowhere. The most influential and established historical event of the canon is the Great War, an enormous region-spanning military conflict from 1949 to 1955 which involved most of the canon’s great powers, brought the development of nuclear weapons in 1955, and played a significant role in many nations’ histories. Other major events occurring more recently IC include the establishment of the World Forum as a peace-promoting international organization in 2017 and the Reizen Civil War from 2017 to 2022.
The United States of Izaakia is the largest nation in the Keyli continent, and has 2 overseas territories, with a total Area of 324,935km^2 north of the 70th parallel (Izaakia claims all land south of the 70th parallel (15,500,000km2) these claims are disputed). The population of Izaakia is 49.7 million Million, mostly concentrated on the northern coast of Keyli and the coasts of Montacia and Brodlancia, with large population centres in the capital Izaakston (5 Million), Port Vent (9 Million), Hopstown (7 Million) and New Mako (7 million).
The Izaakian political system is officially a republic, since April 2021 when President Blanc became head of state displacing the imperial family, in a handover ceremony with Empress Astrid. There is a democratically elected federal government led by President Dr Stella Blanc with devolved governments in each of the 3 nations and the New Mako-Izaakston conurbation . Economically the nation of Izaakia is highly developed with a relatively high manufacturing output, led by the furniture producer Izea, the technology firm Taiga and all terrain car manufacturer Ice Shark. Outside of the manufacturing sector, Izaakia takes advantage of its location along shipping lanes between the Cordilian Sea and the Brevelo Sea, with New Mako being a global shipping centre, there is also a large environmental tourism sector. The nations of Brödmark and La Montagne are not developed as highly as Izaakia, however they do have successful economies in agriculture, tourism, mining(particular la montane), finance, manufacturing and arms production. The Cordilian Sea stretches from the North Pacific Ocean in the north to the Southern Ocean in the south, and washes the shores of Cordilia to the east and the island continent to the west.
It encompasses 30,630,000 km2 (11,830,000 sq mi) in area, and covers about 6% of the total area of Pacifica. The Cordilian Sea splits into two regions with different and independent ocean currents at the equator due to the Coriolis Effect. It splits into the North Cordilian Sea and the South Cordilian Sea, this last one taking most of the area of the Cordilian Sea and being the main current in the occidental shore of Cordilia.
Its average depth is around of 3,300 m (10,800 ft). The Deep in the West Continent Trench, located west of Kosbareland, is the deepest point of the Cordilian Sea. (Full article...)
Hyper-Radiance (Pelinese: ハイパー・ラディアンス, Haipā radiansu) is a Pelinese series of Pelinese role-playing video games developed by Seikokashi Software. The series is well known in Pelinai primarily for its highly complex RPG character mechanics and extremely humorous writing. Its first title, Hyper-Radiance: Fuyuko Vs. the Blue Slime, was first published in 2002 to popular acclaim and later went on to become the best-selling video game in Pelinese history. It has since received seven more main-series games as well as an anime series, and has achieved a combined 90,000,000 sales of all released games as of 2023. Its primary platforms are PC and Sakanoba consoles, though older games in the series have subsequently received rereleases for the Setako Fold2 and Fold3 handheld consoles.
The Hyper-Radiance series first began development in 2003 as a development of the gameplay mechanics in Seikokashi’s then-recent RPG release Starry Lance, with it being planned to feature much more complicated character stats, abilities, and leveling mechanics than its predecessor. Its characteristically humorous plot lines and character writing were added early in the development to help distinguish itself from a contemporary Pelinese RPG market, including the original Starry Lance, which had a strong tendency towards serious, emotional writing after the release of the landmark Pelinese RPG Yumenohaka in 1996.
Similar to most other Pelinese video game and other media series, availability of the Hyper-Radiance games is largely confined to the Pelinese domestic market. No official localizations or releases for the wider SPE and SPW publishing regions have been produced since Hyper-Radiance V: Digital Dreams released in 2014 with Ezervulgish, Myriac, Austral, and Alman language support, and Seikokashi has continued to deny having plans for any further international releases as of 2022. Due to its membership in the Bailtemmic Cooperation Organization, it is also closely integrated with most other significant economies on the continent of Bailtem; it also possesses numerous bilateral free trade agreements with other countries. The primary driver of economic activity is consumer spending, followed by investment and then by government expenditures.
As a late industrializing country with a strong tradition of government action in a developmental state capacity extending back to the pre-communist era, Pelinai possesses an economic system that is subject to varying degrees of state intervention and direction in pursuit of goals such as economic growth, industrialization, and the domestic establishment of strategically significant industries. It possesses a wide variety of state-owned enterprises and keiretsu assemblies, many of which are direct organizational descendants of Belogoran-era state-operated production associations and design bureaus; the normal purpose of these entities is to facilitate the reliable, domestic production of goods and services desired by the Pelinese government, along with the provision of stability and investment in various sectors of the Pelinese economy as directed by industrial policies.
