The Anserisan Broadcasting Administration (Anserisan: Administracio do Locuso Anserisano) (ALA) is an Anserisan public service broadcaster. Its headquarters are at Broadcasting Building in Brantavilla.

The ALA is established by the Anserisan Broadcasting Administration Act[1] and operates under the Department of Culture and Communications. Its work is funded principally by an annual television licence fee which is charged to all Anserisan households, companies and organisations. The fee is set by the Republican Commission and used to fund the ALA's radio, TV and online services.

ALA is also responsible for the ALA National Debate which happens every election year on 20th May.

ALA also provides ALA-World, which broadcasts in Austral to other nations.

History

Services

The ALA operates several television channels and radio stations in Anserisa.

Television

There are 5 television channels offered by ALA. ALA-1 and ALA-2 are the flagship television channels of the ALA. ALA-Nouvo is a 24-hour news coverage channel and ALA-ANS covers all governmental news and information and broadcasts the debates in both houses of the Congress of the Republic. The ALA also offers ALA-Enfanto which is focused on children's programs.

ALA-World is the 6th television channel which provides Anserisan content in Austral to other nations in the South Pacific.

Radio

There are 6 radio stations offered by ALA. ALAR-1 is offering new music and popular styles, ALAR-2 offers adult contemporary, country and soul music among many other genres, ALAR-3 is presenting classical and jazz music, ALAR-4 focuses on current affairs, factual and other speech-based programs, ALAR-Nouvem broadcasts 24-hour news and ALAR-Sportem broadcasts sport events.

News

ALA-Nouvo is a large broadcast news gathering operation in the South Pacifc and is overseeing the operations of the television networks like ALA-Nouvo, ALA-ANS and ALA-World News. ALA-Sportem is broadcasting live sporting events and news about sports in Anserisan and the South Pacific.

The ALA's online presence includes a comprehensive news website and archive especially with its partnership with the most popular written media in Anserisa, Lo Diurno Anserisano.
