The Airports of Anserisa are one of the main infrastructure of transportation owned and operated by the Government of Anserisa and one of the main infrastructures to get to and from Anserisa.
The first airport to be developed was the Princia-Geneva—Brantavilla International Airport, located on the outskirts of the capital Brantavilla. Other airports were developed after, first at the two major cities on the other islands and finally the other airports. Only one airport has no paved road, consisting only of gravel, the Potissima Municipal Airport.
The National Airport System is the national classification made by the Secretariat of Air Transportation to classified the airports.
International Airports
To be classified as an international airport, the airport must qualify with having a minimum of two runways of sufficient length to accommodate wide-body aircrafts. To this date, only one airport qualifies for the certification. Plans to expand the runway of the Vexilla-Opuso National Airport have been discussed, especially because of the tourism industry located on Rubecula Island.
National Airports
To be classified as an national airport, the airport must meet the requirements of being able to handle high traffic of planes, have a runway of sufficient length to accommodate wide-body aircrafts and to be located near a population centre of more than 20 000 people. To this date, only two airports qualifies for the certification. The Chevrona Regional Airport is one of the other airports that could qualify for such certification.
