The list of elections of Anserisa covers the elections since the establishment of the Republic in 1815.

Elections in Anserisa

There are elections every two years in Anserisa because of the two-year terms in the National Convention, thus through the age, the leadership of political parties has been concentrated into the hands of the candidates for a seat as Representatives. Thus, on the elections pages, only the candidates for the Convention are shown.

There are also local elections for the cities, towns and villages of Anserisa. Municipal officials are elected for mandates of four years, on the same years as the end of the mandate of the President.

Types of elections

It is generally recognized that there are 4 types of elections in Anserisa. Ordinary, General, Major and Super elections.

Ordinary elections

General elections

They are generally the elections where only the members of the Congress of the Republic are to be elected, meaning that both the members of the Council of Regions and the members of the National Convention of Anserisa are to be elected.
