The Republican Alliance (Anserisan: Alliança Republicana) is a political party active in the Republic of Anserisa.
History
The Republican Alliance was founded in 1810 as a clandestine group simply known as The Republicans, formed mostly by former leaders which were betrayed by Hadriano Aquilum, which had proclaimed himself Emperor and declared the Anserisan Empire.
Clandestine political group
Meeting in secrecy, the political group was planning a coup d'état which would overthrow Emperor Hadriano and its government and establish the Republic which had been the original plan of the Republican Revolution of 1789-1792. Many founding members of the group ultimately became Presidents, like Auréliano Régulum and Cassio Herminium. Also part of the group was Calpurnio Fabricium who went on to become the first President, although remaining neutral as an independent.

Auréliano Régulum became the first elected President following the election of 1816 which was the first open election after the election of 1815 which was mostly an election to confirm the choice of Fabricium as President.
